Neurology Nursing
Langford Vets have a tailor-made neurology department which has extra-large kennels and a ceiling hoist designed specifically to help move around larger dogs which are not ambulatory. As a core neurology nurse, I enjoy being able to get involved in a variety of electrodiagnostic tests such as nerve stimulations and hearing tests (BAER studies). We also get to assist with sampling cerebrospinal (CSF) fluid. Langford Small Animal Referral Hospital is a great place to work, they encourage learning and further development in your chosen area of choice alongside a supportive team of vets, nurses and ACAs
