Farm animal referrals
In addition to the skills within our farm team, access to a wide range of specialists and specialist equipment within Langford Vets allows us to provide a referral service for small ruminants (including calves, maximum weight limit applies), camelids and pigs.
Collaborating with our small animal specialist colleagues allows us to offer advanced workups and services including, imaging (ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI), surgery (soft tissue and orthopaedic), cardiology, neurology and pathology. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including in-patient stabling and an on-site laboratory, we can provide intensive, personalised care to meet each patient's unique needs.
Our advanced diagnostic capability, farm animal specific facilities and integrated approach across Langford Vets teams enables us to manage cases that are beyond the scope of investigations and treatments that can be performed ‘in the field’ and allows us to provide more advanced care to patients if required.
Where it is not possible to bring animals to the Langford site, we may be able to come to you. Please contact us to discuss specific cases.
