Formerly known as the Graduate Programme, the Langford Vets Nursing Rotating Internship aims to support Registered Veterinary Nurses expand their knowledge base, enhance their technical skills, and build confidence in a referral setting. These nurses rotate around the hospital in the following areas: theatre, surgery/neurology wards, canine and feline medicine, anaesthesia, twilights and an area of their choice! These nurses are also encouraged to engage in core nursing concepts such as clinical governance, continuous improvement and evidence-based medicine.
Applications are now open for the 2025 August intake and will close on the 12th of March.

- Opportunity to participate in specialized procedures, patient care, and diagnostics.
- A rotation of the intern’s choice – including areas such as oncology, cardiology, dermatology and physiotherapy.
- Participation in the OOH rota including twilight shifts and weekend work.
- Allocated off clinics time to complete the BLS & ALS RECOVER course, a clinical audit and second project of the intern’s choosing.
Eligibility Criteria:
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) by August 2025.
- A strong passion for animal welfare, patient care, and advancing veterinary nursing practice.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
