A massive congratulations to Melanie Hezzell, Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology, who has been recognised by the University of Bristol for her promotion to Professor of Veterinary Cardiology. This recognises Melanie’s knowledge, experience and passion for our cardiology patients and her commitment to teaching the vets of the future.
Melanie’s contributions to clinical research are focused on mitral valve disease in dogs and have included the use of biomarkers in clinical practice and investigation of cardiac remodelling in response to heart disease.
