New Dermatologist Joins Langford Vets Small Animal Referral Hospital

Langford Vets are delighted to announce that RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Dermatology Steph Hovey has joined us!

Steph graduated from Nottingham Vet School in 2014 and has always been passionate about dermatology. She completed her Post-Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Dermatology in 2021 and has been working as a referral dermatology clinician in the South West since then.

Steph brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for dermatology to Bristol based Langford Vets. She loves helping dogs and cats, whilst also helping owners to understand their pet’s skin disease. Steph is excited to participate in the training of our Bristol vet students in this extremely important field of veterinary medicine.

I'm really excited to be joining such a well-established dermatology department, and I'm looking forward to being able to support the final year students on their clinical rotations
Steph Hovey

Steph is available to see new and ongoing dermatology cases, as well as assisting with hospitalised in-patients who are seeing other services within Langford Vets Small Animal Referral Hospital.

We are so excited to welcome Steph to our team and expand our available Dermatology service. Steph brings with her a boundless enthusiasm for dermatology and is already positively contributing to new dermatology cases and multi-disciplinary hospitalised cases alongside our Soft Tissue, Neurology and Medicine teams.
