Puppy with multiple birth defects undergoes specialist surgery
Ariel is a gorgeous Cocker Spaniel puppy that was referred to Langford Vets from Greenacres Rescue.
She was born with multiple birth defects including six legs and two vulvas. After being sadly abandoned in Pembroke town centre, she was rescued by Greenacres and initially managed by her local vets, Fenton Vets and the SMART Clinic before being referred to the specialists at Langford Vets in Bristol for investigations and definitive surgery. Ariel had her surgery this week to remove her extra legs. The procedure went very well and Ariel took it all in her stride.
