Information for Vets and Animal Charities

We offer cytology, haematology and biochemistry testing to external vet practices. We continue to offer infectious disease testing by PCR, serology and culture to all vet practices, both internal and external.

If you require any further clinical pathology advice, please email us at clinicalpathology@langfordvets.co.uk including any previous lab ID, animal information (Name, Species, DoB etc) and a contact telephone number. We aim to reply within 72 hours.

Referral Patient Samples

We accept samples for a range of tests from patients that have previously been referred to a Langford Vets clinic. We have a dedicated submission form for these samples.

Dogs Trust

We are pleased to provide screening tests for dogs with a history of travel on behalf of the Dogs Trust.

To help you submit your samples, please find links below to download and printout copies of the submission forms and freepost labels.
If you would prefer to receive paper copies and envelopes, please call our main lab reception: 0117 394 0510 and they will post out extra supplies.

Please be aware that the fee for any samples received using these submissions forms will be invoiced to the Dogs Trust centrally rather than your individual clinic.

We do hope you find this service easy to use. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
