    Claire graduated from Middlesex University with honours in veterinary nursing in 2012. She worked in a charity practice in London and then a referral practice in Norfolk before leaving to travel abroad. Claire spent eight months away in South East Asia and New Zealand where she worked and volunteered at various dog shelters and elephant rescue centres.

    Claire moved to Bristol in 2015 before joining the Small Animal Referral Hospital in July. Outside of work she has a keen interest in travel, music and skiing

    Holly graduated with a first class honours degree in Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Science from the University of Bristol in 2017. During her degree Holly developed an interest in anaesthesia and theatre nursing and hopes to gain more experience in these roles during the nursing graduate programme. During her training, Holly worked at a first opinion practice in Chepstow, South Wales.
    In her spare time, Holly also enjoys sewing and travelling.

    Sarah is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner and Registered Veterinary Nurse. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002 and since qualifying has specialised in animal behaviour and holds and MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour from the University of Lincoln.

    Holly qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2008. Holly spent 2 years at a busy tier 3 veterinary hospital in Staffordshire post qualifying. She joined Langford Vets in 2011, where she began her role as a night nurse and went on to work within the ICU. In 2013 holly gained her certificate in emergency and critical care and stepped into the head ICU nurse role at Langford vets. She achieved a veterinary technician specialist status in emergency and critical care in 2015 and in 2021 completed her DipAVN. Holly stepped down as head ICU nurse in 2020 to enjoy a more clinical role within the ICU team.

    Rachel qualified in 2012 with a First-class honours degree in Veterinary Nursing, from Middlesex University.

    She has since worked at a range of practices, including general practice, charity, referral and university, including a year abroad in Australia. It was here, working in the ICU of Melbourne University Hospital, that she discovered her interest in emergency and critical care.

    Rachel joined Langford Vets Small Animal Hospital in 2017, initially as a neurology and surgery ward nurse, before joining the Intensive Care team as a core ICU Nurse in 2018.

    Rachel passed the Vets Now Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care in 2019, with 3 distinctions. In 2023, Rachel gained specialist status as an AVECCTN (Academy of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Technicians and Nurses) board-certified Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care (VTS ECC).

    Tom qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004 (with credit). In 2011 he began his role at Langford Vets as a rotational nurse and went on to become one of our core Intensive care nurses. He gained his Cert VN ECC (Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency & Critical Care) in 2014, achieving a distinction award.

    Tom gained status as an AVECCT (Academy of Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Technicians) board certified VTS ECC (Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency & Critical Care) in 2017.

    He enjoys working in ICU and providing a high standard of nursing care to our critical and high dependency patients. He enjoys all aspect of his work, ranging from triaging new patients arriving at the hospital to one-to-one constant care of critical patients.

    Yolly joined the small animal practice in March 2011 as an experienced Student Veterinary Nurse, she had previously worked in another local veterinary practice for approximately 5 years. She now works at our referral hospital where she will commence training to be a specialist nurse.
    In her spare time she loves to play squash and looking after her Chihuahua 'Layla', Yorkshire Terrier 'Florence' and Tree Frog 'Laff'.

    Joy graduated from the University of Bristol in 2022 with a first class degree BSc (hons) in Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Science. She then completed the Langford Vets SAH Nursing Graduate Programme rotating through all areas of the hospital before working in first opinion for 5 months. She went on to start her role as a Cardiology Nurse in January 2024.
