    Sophie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2016, and then undertook a 12 month internship at Langford Equine Hospital, seeing a wide variety of medical and surgical cases and completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice. Following this she worked in an equine practice in Dorset, where she spent time both out on the road and in the hospital. Sophie enjoys all aspects of equine practice but is particularly interested in medicine, including care of older horses, and dentistry. Having grown up in Somerset, Sophie has always wanted to come back here to work. Outside of work she can usually be found with her own horses, Seren and Sylvie, or with her ever growing menagerie of small animals!

    Jenny graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2013 and spent a year working in mixed practice in Norfolk before completing an 18 month Equine Internship at Donnington Grove. Jenny joined The Stables Equine Practice in July 2016. Her main interests lie in the field of medicine, poor performance and lameness. She is a keen follower of British Eventing and enjoys exploring the countryside either by foot, horse or bike!

    Bex graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2020, receiving the Equine Prize in final year. After an initial year in first opinion practice, she followed her lifelong ambition to work with horses, and worked in a busy Referral Equine Hospital in Gloucestershire, gaining experience in Equine anaesthesia, internal medicine, equine orthopaedics and diagnostic imaging. A keen sportswoman outside of work, she is a proficient skier and sailing instructor, and has owned and competed horses at National Championship level, culminating in riding at the British Eventing final held at Badminton Horse Trials. She still takes the opportunity to ride whenever she can and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of the role as an ambulatory equine vet. She looks forward to getting to know the local clients of Stables Equine Practice and their horses.

    Rebecca has been working for Langford Veterinary Services since September 2000, previously as a Surgery Nurse, Head Surgery Nurse and Nursing Manager.  She now leads clinical governance within the Hospital.

    Eleri loves being a nurse at Langford vets as it challenges her nursing skills daily, she is constantly using the nursing skills that she learnt throughout her training and first few years as a qualified nurse and she is always learning new nursing skills. She really enjoys the relationship that the nurses have with our clinicians, and the autonomy that they give to them as colleagues. She has carried out several CPD within management and surgical nursing and loves to attend our onsite CPD courses carried out by her fellow nurses.

    Eleri’s main interests are inpatient care, primarily neurological patients; as they require many different nursing skills and she gets to know the patients and their owners. She loves being part of such a wonderful team that always looks to help and support each other.

    Stephanie graduated from Hartpury College in 2013 with a degree in veterinary nursing science, before going on to complete the RCVS Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing with Myerscough College in 2017. She has a particular interest in analgesia and post-operative care and is a passionate clinical coach to students, enjoying seeing their confidence grow.

    Outside of work Stephanie enjoys writing for nursing journals, sharing her knowledge and experience. She also has a horse called Sprite who she enjoys competing on (mostly jumping), and enjoying the South Bristol countryside.

    Before joining Langford Vets in 2021, Chloe worked in first opinion and referral practice. She has a certificate in exotic animal nursing and is working towards an Emergency Care Certificate. She has a keen interest in emergency work and surgery.

    Sarah started nursing in 1991 and since that time has been proud to see great changes in her profession, and the standards of care we are able to provide. She has worked in practices all over the south west and joined Langford Vets in 2014 as a full time night nurse. Sarah loves her job it is challenging and very rewarding, and it is a privilege to be part of the team that cares for our clients pets overnight. Her passion is Emergency and Critical Care, and also Medicine cases, but she enjoy nursing all patients, and getting to spend quality quiet time with each of them.

    Suzanne worked in a small animal practice in Nottingham where she qualified as a veterinary nurse from the Berkshire College of Agriculture in 1999.
    In 2002 she moved to work here at The Feline Centre where she cares for cats with both medical and surgical problems. During her time at The Feline Centre she has gained her diploma in advanced medical nursing and has worked alongside International Cat Care (formerly the Feline Advisory Bureau) teaching qualified Veterinary Nurses from around the U.K advanced feline nursing skills.
    Suzanne is also involved in teaching both our veterinary and veterinary nursing undergraduates and is now senior nurse in our internal medicine department.
    At home Suzanne has a gorgeous blue Abyssinian called Wizard and likes to keep active by participating in a variety of keep fit classes as well as singing in a band.

    Juliet received a First Class degree from the University of Bristol in 2017, having read Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Science for four years. After completing Langford Vets' Graduate Nursing Programme, she took up a full-time position in the Canine Medicine Department. As well as caring for hospitalised patients, Juliet enjoys running medical procedures, teaching veterinary and veterinary nursing students, and her role in the hospital's Infection Control Committee.
